Hi, I’m Lentine (or Kai)👋

Welcome to my little corner of the internet!

If you’ve made it here, you were probably looking for one of three things:

A cybersecurity write-up. A CTF solution. Or you clicked the wrong link.

If it’s one of the first two, welcome! (And if it’s the third… stick around, you might find something interesting😉)

Professionally

I’m a cybersecurity engineer and researcher who enjoys solving problems, learning new things, and occasionally disappearing down technical rabbit holes just to understand how something works.

I focus on offensive security, security engineering, and helping organizations improve their security posture. Outside of work, I spend a lot of time building Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges, writing technical articles, and contributing to the cybersecurity community as a Hack The Box Meetup Ambassador.

One of the things I enjoy most about cybersecurity is that it constantly rewards curiosity. Every application, protocol, or technology has something new to teach you if you’re willing to dig a little deeper.

Lately, that curiosity has led me into AI security, where I’m exploring how traditional offensive security principles can be applied to increasingly capable AI systems.

Beyond Cybersecurity
#

As much as I enjoy cybersecurity, it’s not the only thing that keeps me occupied.

I’m a huge Formula 1 fan. Some people love it for the strategy or the engineering, I won’t pretend that’s what got me hooked. I love it because the cars are absurdly fast. There’s something incredible about watching drivers push both themselves and their machines right to the limit every race weekend.

I’m also a fan of psychological thrillers and social experiment films. I enjoy stories that make you question what you think you know, leave you connecting the dots long after they’re over, or make you want to immediately discuss them with someone else.

Reading is another hobby, although I have a slightly unusual relationship with books. I’ll sometimes go weeks, or even months, without reading a novel, then stumble across one that completely pulls me in and reminds me why I enjoy reading in the first place.

I also enjoy meeting people through the cybersecurity community. Some of my favourite moments haven’t been finding vulnerabilities—they’ve been the conversations after meetups, collaborating during CTFs, and watching someone solve a challenge they didn’t think they could.

What You’ll Find Here
#

This blog is where I document the things I’m learning and building.

You’ll find:

  • Technical write-ups and walkthroughs
  • Original CTF challenges
  • Security research and learning notes
  • Thoughts on offensive security and AI Security
  • The occasional post about something that simply caught my interest

Whether you’re here to learn something new, solve a challenge, or just see what I’ve been working on recently, I hope you find something worth sticking around for.

Thanks for visiting.
